Philosophy
“Wisconsin Force seeks to provide opportunities for youth to develop academics, athletics, and leadership skills that will help them achieve success throughout life.”
Mission “To develop student-athletes to become good athletes, good students, good citizens, and good leaders through athletics".
Wisconsin Force was established in 2001 by Hennssy Auriantal and since that first season, the program has continued to grow and develop. In 2004 the Girls program was added. This past season, both Boys and Girls programs had successful seasons. We are now entering our seventh year and are continuing to improve. The 2008 season for the Wisconsin Force will operate at the MAC Sport Center in Verona, WI.
This coming year the Wisconsin Force Basketball program will build on our successes. Our primary goal is to provide an excellent service to parents and student athletes. We want to develop our player’s physical and mental basketball skills while increasing overall court awareness. We will also focus on team and individual development, social skills, sportsmanship, and an environment that is both safe and fun. Last but not least, our commitment to the development of youth beyond the basketball court. Our program will challenge our student athletes to build academic readiness for higher education, develop leadership skills, and promote community services.
Wisconsin Force Basketball is a not for profit organization.
Under the leadership of Hennssy Auriantal the Wisconsin Force program has made a big difference in the lives of our players. Prior to establishing the Wisconsin Force and Player Development Program (PDP), Hennssy Auriantal played for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Basketball team from 1995-1999, graduating with a degree in Kinesiology. While attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Hennssy Auriantal also participated in post-season tournament play under former University of Wisconsin-Madison Head Coach Dick Bennett. Coach Bennett is currently at Washington State University, where Former Force Basketball Star player Kyle Weaver 6’6 Point Guard is currently enrolled. Hennssy was named Big-Ten All Academic in 1997 and 1998. Hennssy gained international experience as a member of the Junior National team in 1997 and the Canadian National Olympic team in 1999.
Since 2001, Hennssy Auriantal has trained and mentored outstanding players such as Mr. Basketball in Wisconsin Michael Nelson (North Dakota State), First Team All State Kyle Weaver (Washington State), All Star Curtrell Robinson (Winona State), All Star Chase Kieler (UW Platteville), First team All Conference and All Area Div. 4 Evan Klees (Edgewood College), Marc Daniels (Northeastern), Eze Samuel (Sheridan JC), Robert Barefield (Sheridan JC), Bakary Kanote (Bowie State), Makam Kanote (George Mason), Ricky and Marco Volcy (Northern Michigan), Claude Delmas (Northern Michigan), Deji Akindele (Chicago State), Rodwins & Manix Auriantal (NYIT) and Pro, Luke Recker (IOWA and Pro), Prosper Karangwa (Siena University and Pro), and more to come.
