FRESHMEN FOOTBALL IS FINALLY HERE!!

The Burlingame High School football program is excited to announce that we will be offering freshmen football for the upcoming 2010 season and beyond.  During this first season the program will be modified and play anywhere from  5 to 8 games and by 2011 we plan on playing a full 10 game season.   We are currently unsure of the amount of games due to some other schools uncertainty of fielding freshmen teams.   We have games scheduled with Aragon (twice), Terra Nova, Santa Teresa, Scotts Valley, and Palo Alto for sure. During the weeks in which there are no games the Freshmen will play and travel (if necessary) with the Sophomore team.  Practices will take place in part with the Sophomores as well as spending time alone as a team.  Freshmen football is a great opportunity to learn and enjoy the game in a safe and positive environment with other individuals with similar levels of skill, experience, and body type.  If you have any questions or would like further information please contact John Philipopoulos at
jphilipopoulos@smuhsd.org.
