Coach Mack is from Tyler, Texas and graduating from Chapel Hill High School. He was drafted out of high school by the Kansas City Royals MLB organization. Attended the University of Miami from 1993-1996 where he played football, baseball and was on the track team. Drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in 1997 and played 4 seasons with the Bengals. Coach Mack played in the 2000 Pro Bowl Game and currently holds the Cincinnati Bengals record for most career kickoff return yards. Also played 3 seasons in the AFL with the San Jose Sabercats, setting rookie record for consecutive Defensive Player of the Week honors. Coach Mack played for many outstanding coaches including current NFL coaches Bob Bratkowski, Mark Duffner, Bob Wylie, Rob Chudzinski, Louie Cioffi, Tom Coughlin, Ray Horton, Chuck Pagano, and Hall of Fame player and coach Dick LeBeau.
