SAHA Learn To Skate Program
2019 SUMMER SESSION

2019 - 2020 SAHA Learn to Skate Fall / Winter Session dates will be available soon.
The SAHA Learn to Skate Program is designed for skaters 4-7 years old.
Our Fall / Winter schedule is divided into 3 Sessions.
Classes are on Tuesday evenings and Saturdays.
Our Summer classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays in July.
Please see our registration form for exact dates and times.
Skaters are to provide their own skates and must wear a hockey helmet with a face mask, warm clothes and gloves.
Full Hockey gear is recommended but not required.
Play It Again Sports in Spenard is a great source to purchase good used gear and skates at an affordable price.
All players are required to register with USA Hockey for player insurance.
This can be done by going HERE, click "REGISTER NOW", and when appropriate select "Ice Player/Coach" and continue following instructions. (Ice Player = Hockey Player)
The cost is FREE for skaters 8 and under.
Please include the confirmation code on your register form.
Our classes are designed to introduce your skater to the basics of skating.
These skills can be used if you're interested in your child going on to play hockey or if you just want your child to have a life time of skating skills.
Once they are comfortable on their skates, we can place them on a team and introduce them to the great game of hockey. We offer hockey team experiences for skaters 4 years and up.
