12/20/2008 For those players that participated in the 17U CABA World Series in Euclid, we have been informed that the Championship rings are in production and we should have them in our hands by mid January. We apologize for the delay but they are custom made and will definitely be worth the wait!

IMPORTANT UPDATE!! Camp changed to next Sunday Nov 2. At Concordia reason: wet field and wind advisory. Drive Performance ITrac visual training presentation and individual instruction. and Velocity sports will be participating. Jack Gallo Pitch and Hit Club board member is helping run the camp with Spiro Lempesis head coach at Concordia. Head coach at Trinity College also helping. New york scout also at camp.
Bergen Beach will be holding a camp-tryout in Illinois for National Showcase teams Oct 26th at Concordia College River Forest Illinois. (Directions) Registration is from 8-9am camp-tryout is 9am to 3PM and will include a full day of showcase style evaluation and 7 inning game. Professional and College scouts will be hand. Bergen Beach National Director Steve Bort will host the event and be assisted by former professional baseball players and college coaches. Select players will receive invitations to Bergen Beach National Showcase Teams. Some of the events that we will attend in 2009 include defending our 15th Title at the CABA High School World Series in Euclid Ohio as well as events in Cooperstown New York, Myrtle Beach, Dublin Ohio, East Cobb Complex Marietta Georgia and Crystal Lake Illinois. BERGEN BEACH CROWNED 2008 CABA HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONS!! Bergen Beach continued there dominance in the CABA World Series by beating the Florida Legion Post 43 team Saturday for the Championship by a score of 13-5. Winning pitcher was Nick Petrey who had been dominant over the course of the tournament. Bergen won 11 games in a row for a 11-0 record. Enroute to the championship victory Bergen Beach run ruled the Columbus Cobras and also defeated Maryland Select in a bracket that included the Cincy Flames. CONGRATULATIONS TO NEW PLAYERS SELECTED TO BERGEN BEACH FROM THE "MIDWEST" TRYOUT!
Bergen Beach Baseball based in Brooklyn New York hosted a Showcase camp, Midwest Team & National Team Tryout on Saturday, October 28th 2006, in Oak Brook Illinois. Camp & Tryout participants were evaluated and received a full day of professional instruction from Bergen Beach staff and a variety of highly respected local coaches and instructors. Participants also received information on the recruiting process and other valuable tips. Bergen Beach shares scouting information with professional scouts and college baseball programs. Bergen is a respected Showcase program winning the CABA High School World Series thirteen times. The following players were selected and received invitations to play on one or more of the following teams; (17U) high school World Series in Euclid Ohio in July 2007. Bergen Beach 16U 2007 CABA World Series National Team which will play next July at host East Cobb facility in Georgia & 16U Bergen Beach Midwest playing a full summer & fall season including USA Baseball Junior Olympics in Jupitor Florida. Past and present coaches include former MLB players Tommy Herr, Bill Singer, Kevin Saucier, Rodney McCray , Dave Stapleton, Frank Semineira in addition to Ed Santa; Area Scouting Supervisor for the Colorado Rockies and Craig Noto Asst. Coach Long Island University. The Bergen organization has had over 300 players drafted by MLB teams.
Steve Bort and the entire Bergen Beach Baseball staff welcomes the new players to the premier amateur travel baseball program in the United States. The opportunity to play with Bergen Beach will give each selected player the opportunity to advance their individual skills and prepare for the next level.
