November 2, 2008 - The Venom have clinched 1^st place in NCSL’s highly competitive division 1 with one game still left in the season. The Venom are currently undefeated and  have held their 1^st place position in the division the entire fall season. Their record currently stands at 7-0-1 with 19 goals for and only 3 goals scored against them. Included in their 7 wins was a 2-1 win over the MPS McLean Hurricanes who are the three time State Cup Champs in their age group. The Venom, a State Cup Semi-Finalist, will conclude NCSL League play on November 8th by playing the last season game against another State Cup Semi-Finalist, the SYA Lions.
