Three Venom Players to ODP Nationals in Frisco, Texas

Frisco, TX  March 2009 - Venom players Kyler Sullivan, Shayne Leonard and Christian Kosko were recently named to the final roster of 18 for the 1993 Virginia Boys ODP team that traveled to the US Youth Soccer ODP National Championships at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas March 19-22.  The Virginia team qualified for Nationals by winning their respective age group at the US Youth Soccer ODP Regional Championships last summer. The Virginia 93 Boys team competed against the other three ODP regional winners at the National Championships which included Region II (Indiana), Region III (Oklahoma) and Region IV (California South). While the Virginia team fought hard and dominated play they lost in the semi-final round to California South who went on to win the 93 Boys ODP National Title.  Fox Soccer Channel aired highlights from the ODP National Championships on April 10th.
