The "500"


For the movie "The 300” two excellent conditioning specialists in Utah came up with a routine to get the actors and extras into excellent shape. 

 

I did it, and it was extreme but it wasn’t quite extreme enough and I was looking for something different to get the lads in shape for the World Cup qualifiers, and after 4 weeks testing of different combinations, I came up with    .....      'The 500"

 

Briefly it is a series of 27 stations that include weights and calisthenics, to be done in 30 minutes or under, with very short defined rest intervals.

 

If you get through this one routine (and no one has yet done it on the first try) you would qualify for a 500 shirt (this is only available to someone who has completed the routine)

 

If you are interested arrangements can be made for you to attempt it.  I have broken into 3 phases.  You would start with phase one and dependant on your performance would then move to phase 2 either on the same day or at a later date

 

More details will be available if you choose to try it.  Be aware it is VERY demanding BUT...if you get through this, along with the preparation for it, you will definitely be fit for the season.

 

The shirt reflects the intensity of what you have accomplished.
