Mission Statement
The Arkansas Lions will serve our community with pride and passion as a quality example of individual and team excellence on and off the field by consistently demonstrating the highest degree of character, dedication, appreciation and respect for our game, fans, teammates, opponents and sponsors. We will continually strive to exceed our fans expectations as a visionary organization providing a fulfilling entertainment experience.
The players and staff will realize the responsibility they have of showing respect, sensitivity and kindness to those in the community that are supporting them. Whether the players are associating with fans, making appearances, giving interviews or raising funds for a local charity, event or cause, by representing the Lions organization they will have a goal more important than any football game, making a difference in the lives of others and making our community a better place for everyone.
For the player who wants to pursue the opportunity to play at the college level, we can help by editing game films and making highlight tapes to send to recruiters and coaches. Players are not compensated and therefore retain college eligibility. For the player who just wants to put the pads on again, we offer them a chance to have some fun and relive the old glory days.
We provide an arena for players to refine their skills for the next level, but also allow football enthusiasts the ability to continue to participate in full-contact football after their high school or college careers have come to a close.
We offer self-esteem, career development, conditioning and the ability to work together with others to enhance and develop social skills.
We want everyone to have fun and succeed in whatever they want, but they have to be dedicated and willing to make sacrifices to achieve their goals.
