The boys track team is off to a blistering start this season.  They have not lost to any Class A school and are currently ranked first in the state for their class and fourth among all classes.  They most recently placed fourth at the national-level Eastern Relays on April 28^th, losing only to AAA powerhouses Male, Trinity, and St. Xavier.  Several school records have also already fallen, including Troy Cooper in the shot put and discus with throws of 59’ 7.25” and 152’ 11’ respectfully.   Matt Hansman has also broken the school record in the high jump with a leap of 6’6”, and Zach Schmidt has joined him in the triple jump with a hop-skip-jump of 44’ 2.25.”  Hansman, Schmidt, Brett Moss, and Ben Ridder have also broken the shuttle hurdles relay record as well.  Several school record performances are currently pending verification.  The boys are currently preparing to make a run at the outdoor state championship in June.
