Freshmen Lose Close Battle

        The freshmen lost a close battle to Villa 21-19, 22-20 as Emily Greis had 7 assists, Brannon Hehn had 3 kills and Taylor Leick chipped in with 3 aces.
         Blue Lightning struck Friday night in the form of Villa Madonna as Coach Sandy Kitchen's varsity team came ready to play in a 25-20, 25-6 win over the homestanding Lady 'Stang varsity.
           They travel to Pendleton County Monday to take on the Lady Cats in a triple header.
           The junior varsity beat Villa easy 21-12 the first game of the match then fell 21-12 in the second. In the third game Allie Flaugher's booming serve gave Brossart a comeback 17-16 win and the match.  Flaugher had 10 assists and 2 aces while freshman Emily Greis had 5 kills, 2 aces and 2 assists. Danielle Bryan and Emily Holtz contributed with 3 kills each.

Freshmen Win First Match

     The Bishop Brossart freshmen volleyball team gave new Coach Sarah Henderson her first win of the season as the freshmen outlasted Harrison County 21-17, 21-18 at Seither Center.
     Elena Humpert led the Lady 'Stangs with 7 kills, Brannon Hehn had 3 aces and 2 kills and Emily Greis had 10 assists.
