BLACK & BLUE F.C. is a member of the "Laguna Niguel Football Association" located in South Orange County. The league is populated with players from diverse backgrounds such as: Mexico, Europe, South America and the Middle East. Most, if not all have either played at college level or above. It is a highly competitive league that has very high standards of play and sportsmanship. Black & Blue F.C. boasts a team of individuals that have, at it's core, been playing together for over 10 years in several different leagues. From it's history, B&B started as an "in-door" team which spawned an outdoor full squad that played in the YMCA league. From there, they moved to the "Coast League" and enjoyed great success as the "Warriors" before moving to the LNFA in 2002 and merging with another Coast League team to form "Black & Blue F.C.
With a core of 10 or so long standing players, the Godfather Scott Miller, added several new players to the roster. Most notably Ignacio Cid and Jason Fichtelberg. B&B, from the start of their LNFA campaign in 2002, have consistantly placed in the upper echelon of the league with sights set on winning the league. Twice B&B came close to taking the title but placed second to 77 F.C. 2 points behind. The 2006-2007 season has opened up and again, B&B are at the top of the league slugging it out with the perennial powerhouses' 77 and Rhodies. Which team will win the honors? We will all have to wait and see but this year B&B are loaded with talent and certainly will play quality ball and push all teams to the limit.
