Hartmeyer Arena Expands Rink Size

     Madison Ice Inc. the owners of the Hartmeyer Ice Arena had a plan when they purchased the rink a few years ago, and that was to upgrade the ice surface that had been installed in the early sixties. That plan has turned reality this summer ,  as they not only put in new coils for the ice but expanded the rink making it NHL size and installed NEW boards with seamless glass. I had the opportunity to watch the progress this summer, and the final product is amazing!!! I would like to thank the Madison Ice  Inc.  board for the investment they have made for the future of hockey on Madisons east side.
