Bomber Get Revenge in League Play
Eric Nelson - 11/20/2008
You could say the Madison Blues had the West Bend Bombers number as they had taken 2 games straight from new team but they were only exhibition. The bombers came to Madison Friday night to make a statement and they did just that  beating the Blues 9-8 in a league game that saw the momentum swing back and forth. The Bombers brought with them some rowdy fans who kept the noise up in cheering on their team. The Blues came out flat ,maybe with a little to much confidence and the Bombers took a 3-0 lead. The Blues made the game interesting scoring 4 goals in the 3rd period but the Bombers iced the game with a empty netter and closing out the Blues 9-8. The rematch is in a couple of weeks so both teamed will have a little more respect of the other next game.
