Dragons JV Host Porland in Exhibition

When JV Head Coach Ken Mears got the call from Briarcrest coach Chris Bartels that the visiting Portland, TN squad needed a JV match, Coach Mears was happy to accomodate.

Traveling from north of Nashville near the Kentucky border, the Portaland JV met up with the Dragons JV potent offense.  Collierville's Dominic Carbognani scored the eventual gamewinner in the first half from a Colin Carmon assist.

The Dragons JV would add two insurance goals in the second as Carbognani scored his second goal of the match and teammate Zach West found the net for the 3-0 win.

Caleb Poley took over net minding duties from Kirby Smith in the second half as the duo secured the clean sheet for the Dragons JV.
