Pitcher of the Week: Austin Skipper (Wake Forest Fungo)

Player of the Week: Mike Snyder (Fuquay-Varina Twins)

 

 

Austin Skipper of the Wake Forest Fungo takes home pitcher of the week after a complete game shut out perfomance. The William Peace pitcher went 7 innings logging 9 strikeouts and 2 walks, while only surrendering 1 hit. Skipper has only pitched twice for the Fungo this summer but has made his appearances count. Opponents are currently batting .067 off Skipper and he sports a 2-0 record. 

 

Congrats to 2018 CVCL MVP Mike Snyder of the Fuquay-Varina Twins for taking home Player of the Week for Week 4. He was 10-21 on the week with 3 HR, 13 RBI's and 3 2B. Mike had a huge game against the Statesville Owls hitting 2 HR a 2B with 9 RBI's. He stayed on his terror all week and season for that matter. The 1st Team All NAIA product from Indiana Tech is batting .420 with 7 HR and 22 RBI's this season. 

 

Kasey Caras - Week 3 POTW had a great 5 for 5 game this week also! Congrats gentleman.
