On Nov 1st, 2007, the Dayton Diamonds officially chartered the Dayton Diamonds Women's Football Foundation, a long dream in the making, to extend the philanthropic vision of teaching life lessons through sport. Through recurrent, direct, and on-site educational outreach, it makes use of athletes as a universal classroom. Programs include youth sports camps, for all young people to experience team sports, motivational speaking, bringing athletes into the classroom, and public service media production, to share inspirational slices-of-life.
