DIRECTIONS
The Deer Lakes Thunder plays their home games at Bairdford Park, in Bairford, PA. 

Directions to Bairdford Park, West Deer Township:

From Turnpike Exit 48 (old Exit 5) (Harmarville):  Go south on Freeport Road until 3rd stop light at Rt. 910.  Turn right on Rt. 910.  Go 8 miles and turn right onto Oak Road at Crossroads Motorsports.  Go 1.5 miles on Oak Rd. until stop sign.  Bear right onto Bairdford Road.  Go 1/10 of a mile and turn at the next right onto Maple Avenue.  At stop sign, turn right onto Orchard and make an immediate left onto Bairdford Park Road.  Go 1/10 of a mile to the park.

From Turnpike Exit 39 (old Exit 4) (Butler Valley): Go north on Route 8 until 4th stop light at Rt. 910.  Turn right onto Rt. 910.  Go 2.2 miles and turn left onto Oak Road at Crossroads Motorsports.  Go 1.5 miles on Oak Rd. until stop sign.  Bear right onto Bairdford Road.  Go 1/10 of a mile and turn at the next right onto Maple Avenue.  At stop sign, turn right onto Orchard and make an immediate left onto Bairdford Park Road.  Go 1/10 of a mile to the park.

TEAM INFORMATION 

The Deer Lakes Thunder is a community based 9 year old baseball team. Participation on the team is limited only to 9 year old players that are eligible to play in Deer Lakes Youth Baseball Association, Inc. The Deer Lakes Thunder does not recruit players from outside our league borders. With only thirty 9 year old players in the district to select from this makes the Deer Lakes Thunder a true class “B” team. The team competes in tournaments as well as individual games and is always on the lookout for extra games.

 

Our goals are very simple…

  • To educate our players on baseball fundamentals and good sportsmanship.
  • To stress teamwork and sacrifice over individual performance.
    To have fun playing baseball.
