The 2nd Annual World's Longest Running Lacrosse Game (WLRLG) was held at The Blast in Emigsville, PA on Saturday, March 17th, 2007.  The event was hosted by the Eastern York KNIGHTS in conjunction with the Penn-Air & Hydraulics Foundation.

For 17 hours, nearly 400 boys played a continuous running lacrosse game which started at 7:14 am and concluded at 12:13 am the following day.  The game generated income ($3,520) that was ultimately donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater PA.  The money donated was used to Grant the Wish of Wes Anderson, a Dallastown senior whose wish was to go to Disney World.

This year's event lasted 17 hours which increased over the last event (12 hours in 2005).  And thanks to the efforts of the York
County lacrosse community, we were able to help Wes and his family as he expressed...

Mr. Rhein,

I am very gracious that you are willing to help out this year on my behalf.
It is quite astonishing how the community is gathering around to support me,
even those I never knew before.
Thank you for your very generous efforts.
