One of the most special events for the KNIGHTS in 2007 was the celebration of Mother's Day.
The boys honored their moms with a variety of gifts. This included balloons, flowers as well as a special custom card that each of the boys signed.

The boys were genuinely excited to sign the cards. They presented the gifts at halftime of the Central York (U-9) and Northern York (U-11) games.
The halftime presentation only lasted a few minutes, but the memories will last a lifetime.

Here is what a few of the KNIGHTS mothers had to share...
I just wanted to say thanks for what you had the boys do for all of us mothers. That was really sweet and meant a lot. I had a friend with me this evening to watch my son play, but she was more amazed at what the boys did for us. It says a lot about you as a coach and sets a good example for our boys. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say thanks!
Thank you for the halftime ceremony for the Mother's on Friday. I know that I was very proud to stand with my son. It warmed my heart to see his excitement when he presented me with the card, flowers, and balloon. Those moments are the ones you truly cherish. Your thoughtfulness was truly appreciated. Keep up the good work as you mentor the boys!
I would like to personally take the time to thank you for all of your hard work, patience, and positive attitude this year (not to mention love of the game)! You have truly been the best coach that I've experienced with either one of my children and their many sport endeavors.
Your thoughtfulness with the Mother's Day gifts was also such a wonderful surprise! Coach of the year goes out to you!
