The 2010 14U Stallions are a highly competitive, travel baseball team affiliated with the top baseball program in the country, East Cobb Baseball (www.eastcobbbaseball.com).  Our 12-13 player roster will play 60+ games in 2010, primarily tournaments and practice games with other highly competitive travel teams.  Some tournaments will overnight trips to neighboring states. We will also compete in local USSSA tournaments in the Major classification, as Triple Crown, USTBA and Nations tournments. Our team is built to play in an age classification higher than 14U.  The bottom line is, wherever the best competition is playing…expect the Stallions to be there. The season will begin in February with a "Spring Training" including pitching instruction from former Braves pitching coach Leo Mazzone, and will last through early July.

The 14U Stallions coaching staff's top priorities are sportsmanship, respect of teammates, coaches, parents, opposing teams and umpires. With 12-13 of the highest level players in Georgia, players will get significant rest time during the tournaments because the team will be “interchangeable parts”.  A deep pitching staff and depth at each position means no “overused arms” which can and does happen on other tournament teams. The goal of the program is to increase the level of each player's skill and knowledge of the game so that they can take those skills to whatever level of baseball they ultimately desire.
