CODE OF CONDUCT
It is the sole responsibility of each participant in the ELITE HOCKEY LEAGUES to conduct themselves in accordance to all playing rules along with league/facility policies and procedures. Any player who violates the rules, or fails to adhere to league/facility policies and procedures will receive disciplinary actions such as, but not limited to, Penalties, Suspensions, Fines, League expulsion, Legal Action, etc….
Elite Hockey Leagues will govern any and all disciplinary actions in a strict and efficient manner to ensure the safety and security of its leagues, players, and staff.
- Any player who exhibits behavior that shows he or she is under the influence of Alcohol and or other illegal substances will be asked to leave the facility/property.
- Players, who are ejected from any game, are to leave the facility/property immediately. The Captain of the team will be notified of any further disciplinary actions.
- Spectators, who are conducting themselves in an unacceptable fashion, will be asked to leave the facility/property.
SUSPENSIONS-
§ Players who are suspended from league play will not be allowed on the property until the suspension is served. (Note: suspended players can not participates in any other sports or leagues within the facility during the length of suspension)
§ Players who are suspended will also pay a suspension fine. (Note: A suspension is not completed until the fine is paid in full)
FIGHTING-
Any and all players who are involved in an altercation/fight will be suspended without leniency. Elite Hockey Leagues will be extremely strict on all issues involving unacceptable physical behavior.
- Any player who receives a fighting major penalty (regardless of whether a punch was thrown) will be suspended for a minimum of “3”weeks.
- Any player who receives a fighting major penalty who throws a punch or punches will be suspended for an automatic minimum of “5”weeks. Severity of incident and past history will factor into further length of suspension.
- Any players entering an altercation/fight will be given an automatic game ejection and a mandatory minimum “1” week suspension regardless of his or her intent.
*Players will be responsible as a player and or spectator, for any and all actions while in the facility or on the property of “The Habitat for Sports”. Any unacceptable behavior will result in disciplinary action.
Elite Hockey Leagues reserves the right for the expulsion and or suspension to any team or players which conduct themselves in a manner, deemed by the league owners, to be detrimental, harmful, or innapproprite to the league, its customers, its spectators, or its staff. Players and or teams, who are suspended or ejected from the leagues will not be allowed back onto the property of the facility and will not be given a refund! Local law enforcement will be contacted for any and all major issues or concerns.
