The 14U team fought hard through the weekend, and proudly took home
"turkey" trophies in 2nd place for their bracket. The girls are fine tuning
their skills and working towards a higher level. Implementing the plays and
perfecting their bats, each tournament the girls improve individually and as
a team. The coaches are very proud of the girls and see great things in the
future.

The 12U team tackled its first tournament with this USSSA event. It
was a great opportunity for the 12U to put into place the skills they've
been learning since August. "It's not as easy as it looks, but I've never
had so much fun before," grinned Carol Marie. "Each inning I felt like I
was catching better and better." The coaches are very proud of these girls.
They are processing what they have learned and applying it to certain areas
where they need to work harder. They are excited about the Winter Wind Up
Tournament in December with the City of Phoenix.
