FYHA PROGRAMS

 

Our Winter Programs are divided into Two Main Programs:

 

  1. Recreational (House) and
  2. Competitive (Travel)

 

Our Winter Programs Season runs:

 

  1. House (Fall) – September 15th - December 15th (est.)
  2. House (Spring)- January 5th -March 30th 2010 SPRING REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN CLICK HERE
  3. Travel (Try Outs)- April 5th-8th For exact try out times click here
    Travel – September 1st - March 28th (est.)

Our Summer Program is intended for both Recreational (House) and Competitive (Travel) Players.
Our Summer Program Season runs:

1.  June 1st- August 15th (EST)

HOUSE PROGRAM: Is our recreational program designed for any child of any skill level to be able to play hockey for fun.  All Hockey practices and games will be located at Jay Lively Ice rink in Flagstaff AZ.

TRAVEL PROGRAM: Is our competitive program that we outsource  to 'Sonoran League' (for scheduling all our league games) designed for players/parents who want to invest more time in traveling to play more competitive games with other teams of the same interest from Phoenix, New Mexico, Las Vegas, and even Mexico City teams.  This program has 'try outs' to determine who the players will be on the flagstaff team each season.

SUMMER PROGRAM: Our Summer Program is for both House and Travel players who want to keep skating during the summer for FUN.


All our Teams/Groups are divided by Birth years primarily and by skill secondarily.  For an estimate only, and for the purpose of this handbook, we have listed the team/group by ages.

House Program Groups

 

Mini Mite House- 5, 6 yr old 

 

Mite House- 7, 8 yr old


Squirt House- 9, 10 yr old

 

Peewee House- 11, 12 yr old


Bantam House- 13, 14 yr old


Travel Program Groups

Mite House- 7, 8 yr old


Squirt House- 9, 10 yr old

 

Peewee House- 11, 12 yr old
