Ready, set, almost here!!!

 

FIREFIGHTER GAMES starting in mid September.  Sign ups will be taken individually and same color unit workers will play on same team.  Games are scheduled on Thursdays at Chiller Easton and around your unit work day. We will play an 8 game season that will wrap up in December.  Rosters will be filled out with 13 players and a goalie.  Watch for more details and spread the word!

FIREFIGHTER CLASS will also be starting in med September. This class will be on Wednesdays at Chiller Dublin.  Sign-ups to start in mid August. Watch your email for more details. 

ALSO: know anyone who wants to learn to play hockey? We will be having a new player Open House in late September to show your interested friends where the real fun is.

OTHER NEWS: The Columbus Blue Jackets, Chiller Ice Rinks , and Blue Jackets Foundation invite you to clean out your closets and pick up some hockey gear this summer at the Blue Jackets Foundation Hockey Equipment Swap presented by OhioHealth.

How it works:

1) Donate used equipment (any size) at Chiller Dublin, Chiller Easton, or Chiller North anytime from now until September 7th (during normal operating hours). As a thank you to all who donate, the Blue Jackets Foundation will be providing a buy one, get one free ticket voucher for home Blue Jackets games in October and November.* 

2) Join us at Chiller North for the swap on Sunday, September 13 from noon to 5p.m. Admission will be free for the swap, and will feature the following:

Skates - $20/pair, Helmets - $10, Gloves - $10/pair, All other equipment is FREE

In addition, The Chiller will provide a free public skate from 1:30-5:00p.m. for those who purchase gear during the event.
