Recently, a number of players from the Green Bay Gladiators visited Beaumont Elementary School in Green Bay as a part of the "Gladiators Read for Life" campaign that promotes lifelong reading habits in elementary school students.
Recognizing that comprehensive literacy is essential in today's schools, the players had talked about their experiences with reading and education throughout their lives. Students were excited to see the players, and asked many questions having to do with both school and football. The campaign looks to encourage healthy reading habits inside and outside the classroom.
