Haggis qualifies for playoffs

Haggis receives the #4 seed from Region 1, despite losing to Las Vegas 40-21 and going into a negative point differential.   They enter the tournament with the #7 seed and will play in Pool B.  Pool B will also have Glendale and Long Island.  The final seedings have all been completed.  In a strange twist, last year's finalists Hayward and the Austin Blacks face off in the first round. 

The top five teams move on, with Olympic Club taking first place, followed by Hayward, Las Vegas, Haggis, and Los Angeles.

Haggis begins play against the South Side Irish from Chicago, who travelled to the Region 3 playoffs minus several key players due to cancelled flights.  They then announced they will forfeit to Palmer College on Sunday, according to americanrugbynews.com.

Haggis will now travel to Austin, TX for the USA Rugby Round of 16.
