Players to watch: QB Duell Smith (6-2, 180 Sr.); WR Adam Gruschow (6-1, 170 Sr.); DL Paul Tucker (6-1, 240 Sr.); LB Matt Roides (5-11, 215 Sr.); DB Colby Morabito (5-10, 170 Sr.); DB Justin Colline (5-11, 205 Sr.).

Outlook: Hilton always seems like a good place to start when determining the good and very good teams among Section V's large schools. And if the Class AA Cadets have a good quarterback such as Smith, a 2008 AGR pick, they usually can think about a sectional title. There are six returning starters on offense and six on defense.

Gruschow, one of Smith's targets in the passing game, also is back. Hilton usually has a steady and tough back, so it will be interesting to see who emerges in that role. Roides and Morabito could be on the verge of becoming league all-star defenders.

COLBY MORABITO
Week 3 DEFENSE
The 5’10", 165-pound senior cornerback had five tackles, one interception, three pass breakups and one blocked extra point. He also caught the winning touchdown pass in Hilton’s three overtime 27-26 win over Gates-Chili.


DUELL SMITH
Week 1 OFFENSE
The 6’2", 185-pound senior quarterback hit 6-of-7 passes in the first half good for 204 yards and 4 touchdowns (25 yards, 50-yards, 40 yards and 43 yards). He also kicked 7 extra points as Hilton defeated Irondequoit 62-34
