The Hornell Dodgers scored all six of their runs with two outs as they downed the Allegany County Nitros 6-2 in Game 3 of the Western Division Semifinals.  The Dodgers advance to take on the #2 Brockport Riverbats in the Western Division Finals beginning on Monday evening.

The Dodgers got on the board in the 1st inning when Jose Sanchez (Delaware State) doubled and scored two outs later on an infield single by Adam Gray (Mercyhurst).

In the 2nd, the Dodgers added four runs all with two outs.  Abe Steinbach (Emporia State) and Andrew Jesse (St. Joseph's) scored on wild pitches, Greg Laughlin (SW Minnesota State) scored on an error, and Adam Eggemeyer (SIU-Edwardsville) scored on a RBI single by Gray.

The Nitros cut the lead to 5-2 with single runs in the 4th and 6th inning but the Dodgers got a crucial run in the 6th inning.  After retiring the first two batters, Brett Lancaster (SIU-Edwardsville) doubled on a fly ball lost in the lights.  Jesse followed with an RBI single to make it 6-2.

JC Casey (Missouri State) tossed six solid innings allowing one earned run on six hits to earn the win.  He turned the ball over to the bullpen duo of Ryan Maxa (Gardner Webb) and Josh Goodin (William Woods).  Maxa didn't allow a hit in two innings while striking out three.  Goodin struck out two in the 9th to close out the game.

Jesse finished 2 for 3 while Gray was 2 for 4 while Alex Raetzloff was the lone Nitro with two hits finishing 2 for 3.
