Great Season
We have listened to several of the Dodgers games, following Chase Boroff, and I have to say your announcer is the best in the Western Division.  We have enjoyed his play by play and his color commentary.  Thanks again Dodgers for a great season.

Re: Keppler's Stats
If you look at the correct stats on the Dodgers page (on the Team Stats link above), you'll see that Jon Keppler's name is spelled correctly. At some point, his name was probably misspelled by an opposing scorer and the league stat people never corrected it. I'm sure Paul was right on top of it but if the league doesn't do anything, there's not much anyone can do. John McGraw Director of Communications Watertown Wizards (NYCBL PR Director 2006-2008)

Best of luck in finishing the season on top Dodgers. You guys are doing an outstanding job. Paul, you have Keppler's stats split up into 2 names: KeppIer & KeppLer. Thought you'd like to know.

Great Coach

The way I see it, the Dodgers' success can not only be attributed to the players, but the fantastic coaching job that Head Coach Ebright has done!  The decisions Coach Ebright makes and how he implements the necessary changes, has helped bring the Dodgers to the top of the pack! GO DODGERS! Good Luck in the playoffs!

former Dodgers doing well in the BIGS
Rajai Davis (Dodger in 2000) and Brett Carroll (Dodger in 2002) are having great seasons with the Oakland Atheletics and the Florida Marlins repectively. Go to the MLB websites for these teams and check out these two!

Stat Errors

There are a few errors for the Dodgers in the NYCBL stats.  Corrected stats have been sent to the league.  I have a copy that is correct that will be used to send to college coaches if it isn't corrected at a league site.

Thanks for your concern.

Stat error
I noticed the stats indicate that Eric Lambe is charged with the loss of the first game of the 2009 season (Elmira). A view the score sheet should reflect the following: Eric entered the game in the 8th with the score tied 1-1, one out, with runners on first and second. Pitching to the first batter he faced, a pitch bounced off the catchers glove and the runners moved up to second and third. The infield moved in to cut off the run at the plate. A ground ball was hit to the second baseman who after catching it cleanly thew home. The wet ball slipped from his hand and went wild allowing the runner on third to score. This runner was the winning run but was the responsibility of the previous pitcher and not Eric. The next batter hit into a double play ending the inning. I watched this entire game with Eric's parents and grandmother. We are concerned that Eric was charged with this loss  when he pitched as well as possible. Please correct this stat. - Eric's grandfather.
