The word is out and the, In The Paint Biddy Ball camps continue to grow at Third Baptist and Seton Academy, to just name two. But who participates? Who play's basketball? Well I'll introduce you to 2 who do.
Krystal Jones 13, and in 8th Grade at Longwood International Charter School. Krystal has only been playing basketball for about 2 years now, but she is a force to be reckoned with. She enjoys the competition, and the exercise she gets running up and down the court. Krystal has an older brother, who she likes to play basketball with, and a younger sister. With a focus on fundamentals from the coaches, Krystal said she has improved her free throw shooting! Can Shaq say that?
Dweyene Harris 12, and in 6th Grade at Emmit Lewis Till Academy. Dwyene has been playing basketball since he was 3 years old, and loves the thrill and excitement of playing basketball. The goal is to tryout for the basketball team at school next year. The camp has given Dwyene a more "take charge attitude", out on the court. He has become better at dribbling on the court with his head up, so that he can be a leader on the court and direct his team, Dwayne Wade style!
