ITP visits the CHICAGO CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
Terra London - 11/24/2009
WOW! What a time had by all highlighting "Pre-Election Fever"

How do you highlight and celebrate CHICAGO YOUTH BASKETBALL? Well, the In The Paint Basketball family enjoyed a wonderful time on Monday, November 3, 2009 at the Chicago Children's Museum at Navy Pier. Almost 30 kids and adults attended this festive event. It was truly wonderful to see so many bright faces on the kids and adults as they explored 2 floors of hands on technology and experiments. The children, ranging in age from 6 mos to 15 years old, climbed, walked, juggled, sprayed, and tested any and everything the museum offered. The friendly staff at the museum welcomed us with open arms and allowed ITP to have full range of the facility. We ended the night with a small meal from McDonalds and reboarded the bus back to the southside of Chicago.

If you missed this opportunity to join ITP on this venture, don't fret. We will be visiting the museum again soon. Our next visits will actually showcase what we do best - basketball! We will have demonstrations from our very own In The
Painters from the Itty Bitty camp (ages 5-8) to our Biddy camp (ages 9-14). We will also promote our weekly camps and maybe even have a small game to end the night.

Stay tuned for more information and dates regarding our new relationship with In The Paint and The Chicago Children's Museum at Navy Pier.
