K&A RECORDS FIRST WIN IN SIJHL!!
The K&A Wolverines notched their first Junior A victory Saturday night. They edged the Fort Frances Lakers 4-3 for the weekend split after dropping a heart-breaker to the Lakers the night before. 
Scoring for K&A in the win were, Nate Spina, David Dawd(PP), Kurtis Atkinson and Drew Childs with the game winner at 13:45 of the third. The Wolverines held a 2-1 lead from the first before expanding that to 3-1 in the third. Penalty trouble and a short-handed goal allowed the Lakers to tie the game before Childs scored the eventual game winner. Spencer Malone was sharp in net, recording his and the Wolverines first win in the SIJHL. Coach Steve Dumonski was happier with the team effort Saturday and praised the goaltending both nights.
