Free Fitness Assessment
All members receive a free fitness assessment once per year. This assessment consists of three fitness test and will help you assess how to proceed with a workout plan to reach your goals. This is by appointment and we will work around your schedule.


Member Orientation
The YMCA offers member orientation. This orientation will demonstrate how to use the fitness equipment and we will answer any questions you have. If you are unsure about a workout plan we will help get you started. This is by appointment only.

12 Week Fitness Program
    
The 12 week program is designed for the person who would like to start a fitness routine or is stuck in a fitness rut.
 
Your Fitness Coach will start by giving you a fitness evaluation that will be used to track your progress. Your Coach will also design a workout that will help you reach the goals you have set. You will meet with your coach once a week for 12 weeks to discuss any problems or difficulties you may be having and to track your progress. 

Participants can look forward to a healthier more active lifestyle.  This is a members only program and you may contact the Hoerner YMCA service desk for more information.


Tae Kwon Do (Karate)
Tae Kwon Do, is designed to promote health, self control and respect as well as self-defense and self-discipline.

Who: Kids & Adults 7 years old and up
When: Monday & Wednesday 5:30 - 7:00 pm

12 Week KID'S Fitness Program
This is a program designed specifically for children who are overweight. Our fitness coach will perform a fitness assessment and work with the child one on one to become a healthier happier individual. Ages 7-15.  Members Only.

Yoga
Learn better breathing and relaxation techniques while developing strength, flexibility, balance coordination and concentration.

Six Pack Abs (NEW!)
This is a fast paced 30 minute abdominal workout.

Teen Strength Training
This class by appointment only is for members ages 13-15. After completion of this class you are able to be in the fitness center and free weight room.

Cost: $10

*Anyone under 13 is not allowed in the free weight room or fitness center unless they are in a specific program. Any member under 13 that has previously graduated from Teen Strength Training is considered "grandfathered in".



Morning Mix and Evening Mix

This class provides a wide variety of exercises andwill focus on what the individuals in the class need.  Participants have the option to track their weight throughout the session.
