Monday Night Fiesta

The Kilroy's Monday Night Fiesta is an over the age of 35 hockey club that plays on Monday nights at the Fiesta Ice Arena. Currently, the club consists of four teams:

The Gamblers     The AllStars        The Patriots        The Brass

The Monday Night Fiesta was formed by a group of players that were looking for a balanced team format and an enjoyable atmosphere. With those two concepts in mind, the club created a structure within the organization that promotes inclusion of every member in the decision process.

Club Guidlines

1. Each player will be rated ( A,B,C or D ), with the teams being formed by an equal number of rated players on each team. This should promote fun and exciting games.

2. Players looking to play for the Stanley Cup should not join this club. The goal is to have fun and enjoy good hockey.

3. Every time a player scores a goal, that player must pay $3.00 to the club. For penalties, a player must pay $1.00 for each minute of penalty time. In addition, a player will receive a $1.00 credit for every assist. The goal for this organization is to include all skill level players in each game and to promote passing of the puck.

4. Cross-checking, checking, hooking and high sticking are all no, no's that will be enforced. As adults, we all have to work the next day and it already takes four days to recoup from a night of hockey. No one needs any unnecessary injuries.

5. The club has formed several committees that include: Players Rating, Ethics and Behavior, and Rules Enforcement.

6. The Kilroy's Hockey Club, Inc, is a 501C-4 non- profit organization, created for the sole purpose of raising money and awareness to fight the disease Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. The Kilroy's Hockey Club, Inc, was formed following the death of teammate Steve Rigazio, who passed away from the disease ALS.

7. The Board of Directors do not receive any compensation from the corporation and must pay the same club dues as every other player. The Board of Directors volunteer their time and resources because of their relationship with Steve Rigazio
