The Memorial Service for Dave Francis will be held at Palm Mortuary on Tuesday, January 13, 2008 at 5:00pm. Palm Mortuary is located on W. Cheyenne between Buffalo and Tenaya. Following the service, a reception will be held at the home of Gene Kramenbauer. Direction will be available soon.

As a Kilroy's tradition, please wear your Kilroy's jersey to the Memorial Service.
1/7/2009We'll Miss You Dave Francis
Dear Kilroy's Members,
 
At 7:15pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, Dave Francis passed away due to complications from his recent stroke and heart attack. Dave is survived by his wife Cindy, and his son Chris.
 
Dave Francis was a fixture at the Sobe Ice Arena, a true friend to the Kilroy's Hockey Club and to all our members. As most of you know, Dave was the best at sharpening and fixing skates and enjoyed talking about hockey and surfing. In addition to Dave's love of the game of hockey, he was blessed with having a son who is not only a great kid, but is also an extremely talented hockey player. During this past summer, Chris Francis played in several of our Monday night games and demonstrated to all of us the correct way to play hockey. Dave always expressed to me his appreciation for allowing Chris to skate with our club.
 
Currently, we have not received a date for the funeral. Once we receive notification as to the date of the funeral, I will post the information on the BBOARD link on the Kilroy's Hockey Club web site.

On behalf of the Kilroy's Hockey Club, I would like to take this opportunity to wish fellow club member Major Matt Belmonte safe travels as he moves on to Germany for his new assignment. Matt was and remains a standout member and we look forward to traveling to Germany in 2009 for an Adult Hockey Tournament.
