08' Flavor RHP Jonathan Velazquez - signs with the Philadelphia Phillies

It has been communicated to Coach Galan through text messaging that Former Flavor RHP Jonathan Velazquez who pitched for Northwestern University in Florida and for the 08' Flavor in the NYCMBL has indeed signed a contract to pitch for the MLB Philadelphia Phillies Organization. Jonathan said "Coach just wanted to let you know that my hard work has paid off. I just signed to pitch for the Phillies". Thanks for the opportunity to play for the Latin Flavor family. I had a great time and I wish you guys the best".

It's nice to have success stories related to your organization/program. It gives others the confidence and belief that they too can achieve their goals if they put their mind, heart and soul into working hard. Hopefully in the future Latin Flavor Baseball can boast of other players that make it to that next level.
