It's with great sadness that the Welland Warlords announce the passing of Mrs. Orelia Savona mother of Lou Savona, co-owner of the Welland Warlords. Mrs. Savona passed away on Friday October 16, 2009 at the age of 86. Our condolences go out to Lou and his family. The family will recieve relatives and friends at the Welland Funeral Home, 827 East Main Street, Welland on Monday October 19 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday October 20th at 11 am in St. Andrew the Apostle Roman Catholic Church.Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Vigil prayers for Mrs. Savona will be celebrated on Monday at 7pm.If desired donations to the Alzheimer's Society will be greatly appreciated by the family.
