WELCOME TO THE HOME OF MUSTANG FOOTBALL!


This website was started in 2006 to coincide with the opening of the
new Marcellus High School stadium -
and the start of something great in Marcellus football.

It is intended to reflect the pride, sportsmanship, athleticism and leadership that a high quality football program represents to their players, coaches, school and community.  Its purpose is to capture the spirit of the greatest game ever created -- the competitiveness, teamwork, camaraderie; heart, strategy, and, of course, the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.  We are excited by the investment this community has made in Marcellus athletics and in the student-athletes who give so much of themselves to play this demanding sport.  Win or lose the score, these young men are champions for the courage to compete and the commitment to pursue lofty goals. 

This website exists to support the Marcellus Mustang's varsity football team.
The commentary, opinions, photos, videos, articles and every aspect of the website will strive to reflect the best of what high school football is about and the high standards that are the bedrock of any outstanding athletic effort.  The providers endeavor to be fair, respectful and accurate regarding statistics, records and results but do not claim infallibility.  Mistakes, oversights, omissions or errors are the unintended consequences of well intentioned individuals and come with a standing apology.  This is a private undertaking that accepts no payment for its services.  All money from the purchase of Sponsor's banners goes to a post-season gathering and awards presentation for the players and coaches.

This website is primarily a gift from one generation of football players to the next; a gesture that salutes the young men who each fall willingly endure intense conditioning, training and practice for the privilege of suiting-up on a precious few Friday nights to bring their best and who, when their last season has passed, discover that the real lessons they take away are about themselves and what it means to be a team.

We welcome your interest and support of the Marcellus Mustang's football program and invite you to attend every game and cheer the fine young men who represent our school and community.  It's the start of something great in Marcellus Football.
