Nassau Yankees Bulletin Board

We will be playing in the NABA memorial Day Tournament in Atlantic City again this year.  The following players have decided to be on the tournament roster. Please comtact me if you want to be added. I will take 16 players, and have a few outside players interested in roster spots including 3 who have been playing on our travel roster since 2005.

The cost per player will be $75 tournament registration and $40 per night for your hotel room (based on 4 per room in a 2 room suite for 2 nights with an potential 3rd night).

We have added an exhibition game to our schedule for this Thursday at SUNY Farmingdale. The game starts at 7pm against the L.I. Storm. The Storm are one of the top amatuer teams in the East Coast and it will be a chance for us to see how our guys match up against playoff calibre opponents. Bring your "A" game!!!

Hey Guys,  That was one hell on an effort today.  Not only did we have solid pitching, and clutch hitting (  8 of our 11 hits came with 2 outs), We also hustled and ran the bases well. Rookies, You guys were good out there.
We played together as a team (everyone in the line up had a hit and an RBI except 1 guy), and we had none of those selfish kind of players today. No superstars, just a team working together.

It is getting close to the start of the season and I need to get certain items from every player before you can step out onto the field. I know everyone is busy and so am I, but you must take a moment to get this done ASAP.

1) Player NYCMBL Registration Fee   $135.  Payable to league.  (note: all fees not paid by check before 3/7 must be paid on line using PayPal)

2) Team Fee for Umpires & Equipment   $140   Payable to Edward LaMarr

3) NYCMBL Player Contract Signed.

3) On Line NABA Registration completed

4) Copy of Drivers License (or other Photo ID with D.O.B.)

Please contact Ed LaMarr to arrange a meeting on Friday night 3/6  or Saturday afternoon 3/7

Our registration fees to the NYCMBL are due now! Please bring a check or money order to our next practice. The payment is $135. and is made payable to the NYCMBL.

Umpire fees are also due now. The cost this year is $140. per player and is made payable to Ed LaMarr. Bring this check to practice as soon as possible.

ALL MONEY IS DUE THIS YEAR BEFORE THE FIRST PITCH IS THROWN!!!
