NCC  fielded two teams Seamers and Beamers to participate in TCL 2008. Two other teams NCA and NOCC competed in the league.

Both Seamers and Beamers performed quite well in the tournament. Seamers lead the league table in total points. In the finals Seamers lost to NCA. Batting first Seamers scored 140 in 30 overs. Mitul was the top scorer with 59 runs and Naseer scored 35 or so. Other than the two, Seamers batsmen did not bat well. With a low score, Seamers bowlers and fielders gave a good fight. Naseer and Zaheer bowled exceptionally well. NCA achieved the target in 28 overs with 6 wickets in hand. Mitul had the highest points in the tournament and was ‘Player of the Tournament’. Mitul scored most runs, but as per League rules the award went to Arun Paul with second highest runs. Bimal took the award of ‘Best Bowler’ with most wickets in the tournament.
