 Meeting Minutes

July 8th, 2009

 In attendance:

 Scott Schlereth, Al Kaiser, Ed Van Luvender,  Bob Boscia, Bob Reidmiller, Scott VanNess, Bill Ippolito, Jason Yorn, Dan Nolan, Robert Fletcher, Mike Heredia, Teddy Sibblies, Bob Decker, Jerry Bernotas, Jim Harding, Jim Snyder, John Bottone, Chuck Fantasia.

Points of Discussion:

 

  1) Registration

            ◦ 130 registered to date.

            ◦ Down approx 30 from last year, but more late registrations are expected.

            ◦ Coaches need to address/collect unpaid reg’s at equipment pick up.

  2) Equipment Pick Up

            ◦ Saturday, July 18th

            10am-11am- Ponies

            11am-12pm- Supers           

            12pm-1pm- Pee Wees

            1pm-2pm- Midgets

            Make up date for all levels…Sunday, July 19th @ 11am.

            ◦ Integrated pants will be handed out to the pony and supers levels.

            ◦ New girdles will be handed out to the pee wees and midgets.

  3) The coaches rules interpretation/carding meetings will be held on Aug 11th & 18th  at the Latell Center in Franklin.  All new coaches must attend.  At least one rep from each team is required to attend.

  4) 2nd Annual Jamboree

            ◦ Aug 21st & 22nd.

            ◦ We will try to get as many teams as possible to scrimmage at all levels.

            ◦ A carnival will be planned on the 22nd in an effort to make it a fundraising event.

  5) Need Volunteers to announce home games.  Please contact Scott Schlereth or Ernie Wallerstein if you can help.

  6) A rep from weights & measures will certify our scale on Friday, July 10th.

  7) Web masters needed for each team.  Please reach out to parents to find a qualified candidate to update your team’s website.

  8) Teams have been declared to the league

            ◦ 2 Ponies

            ◦ 1 Supers

            ◦ 1 Pee wee

            ◦ 1 Midget
