The Orlando Lacrosse Club is a men's, post-collegiate level lacrosse team which plays in the Florida Lacrosse League. The FLL is a competitive league featuring teams from all over the state of Florida. Most players have college experience, although this is not required.
The season runs from September to March. Games are always on weekends. Practices normally fall on weeknight evenings, depending on field availability. Some of the games require travel. In previous seasons we have had away games in Jacksonville, Tampa, Palm Beach, Gainesville and Ft. Myers.
We are always seeking experienced players to join the club. Players must be out of high school, and at least 18 years of age to play in the league. Players who are currently attending college are welcome to play for us if their school athletic department will permit them. Students who are playing for their college teams should always check with their coaches first because playing in an outside league might affect their eligibility for college sports.
All players must pay annual dues to cover the costs for the team which include:
Referree fees
Field rentals
League membership fees
Annual non-profit fees
Website
Equipment (balls, field paint, cones, etc..)
Misc. other expenses
In seasons past, the dues for each player have been $150. This amount may vary, however, depending on costs and number of players.
In addition to player dues, all players must be members of US Lacrosse. This is a mandatory requirement by the Florida Lacrosse League. Each player who registers must provide their US Lacrosse number, and it will be verified with US Lacrosse before they are permitted to play. There can be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.
All players must supply their own equipment. Helmet and gloves are required. Armpads and shoulder pads are optional, but recommended. This is a full contact league and serious injuries can occur. It is recommended that all players have health insurance coverage of their own.
Our team colors are Red & White. Jerseys are provided to players as part of their membership dues. We also have team shorts available for purchase. Players are not expected to buy matching equipment, but if you do want to match your helmet we use Red helmets with Red visor and White chin protectors.

New players should include the following information:
Name
Address
Phone
E-mail
Position(s) played
Age
Experience
Be sure to provide an e-mail address which you check frequently. I do not use phone communications to contact the team because it would be too time consuming. So if you don't check your e-mail, you will probably miss out on announcements. You can always check this website for updates, as I post most information here.
