Letter from Head Coach Announcing Starting Roster
Chris Finn - 6/13/2007

Hello Everyone,

Team USA is on a quest to win the inaugural World Cup this coming October in Tokyo, Japan.  Last September at the Selection Camp in Tampa, Florida., 12 athletes were chosen to represent the team.  These athletes have been training extremely hard the last nine months to prepare for the World Cup by completing weekly training assignments, participating in three training camps throughout the country, as well as spending more individual time practicing by themselves and with their local teams.

The rules of competition for the World Cup dictate that each team have a starting roster of eight players.  On June 13, the players on Team USA were given their roster spots, either a starting spot or an alternate spot.  If a player with a starting roster spot is unable to attend the World Cup an alternate player will be chosen and placed on the starting roster.

Team USA's roster is as follows:

Starters:

Michael Archer - Greenwood, Indiana

Jerry Book - San Jose, California

Danny Gorman – Safety Harbor, Florida

Jessica Lehman - Emeryville, California

Elio Navarro - Tampa, Florida

JC Russo - Carmel, Indiana

Jairo Solorio - Hollister, California

Omar Solorio - Hollister, California

Alternates:

Ed McGuire - Mesa, Arizona

Corbett O’Toole - Albany, California

Natalie Russo - Carmel, Indiana

Dakotah Smith - Kennesaw, Georgia

Each player is worthy of congratulations for their time, commitment, progress, and energy they have put into participating on Team USA.  Please join me in congratulating all the players for their efforts and challenging each other to be the best, to win the 2007 World Cup in Tokyo, Japan!

Sincerely,

Chris Finn
