Q-What if am playing a winter sport? A-you will be OK to join the team late...until your winter sport season is over.

Q-Is it too late to sign up now? A-No we will take players, who come out late, just remember you'll have to play catch up.

Q-Do I need all my equipment the first day? A-No, bring what you have but get everything ASAP. You can't play without it. (see equip/ needed)

Q-Do you rent equipment or loan it out? A-Not at this time, maybe at some point.

Q-Is lacrosse a club sport, hosted by PWHS? A-NO it's a fully supported CHSAA sport like any other in high school.

Q-Do you make cuts from the team? A-No unless the player has done something criminal or broke a policy which may affect the team; we keep all players who try out.

Q-What about players who have never played before, are they welcome to join? A-YES everyone has to start out new at some point in time. We welcome all who want to try.

Q-Do we have to fundraise? A-Yes or have the means to come up with your own team fees. Remember we are NOT funded by any school district.

Q-How do we clear? A-the best way is to see Coach Lane in the AD office here at PWHS or make an appointment. Ask before come what you need to bring & yes the cost is still $70. Call him at 719-547-8050

Q-When is practice & games? A-weekdays at 4:30PM & we end around 6:00-6:30PM. For games see/click schedule

Q-PWHS is the only team in town, will other schools be getting a team? A-Not anytime soon, we have enough kids to build a varsity/JV/C-team program right now, maybe in years. Most the teams we play are co-op programs and have been around for many years.

Stick-basic for new players/Attack-Middie
Helmet-remember team colors is a must!
Cascade: Carolina Blue shell/black visor & chin
Shoulder pads-lacrosse (hockey will get by temp. only)
Elbow pads-Lacrosse
Gloves-Lacrosse
Cleats & Cup
Mouth guard-black/buy a few extra just in case

Directions to PWHS:
I-25 south, enter city of Pueblo, make right at exit #101 (US 50 West) travel west approx 10 miles, make left/south at McCulloch Blvd. (Main entrance for Pueblo West). At first light make right on E. Spaulding Ave. travel west approx. 4 miles. School at intersection- Spaulding & Capistrano (SW corner). Please use parking lots in front of school (PLEASE NO PARKING BEHIND THE SCHOOL). The lacrosse field is behind the school. Visiting Teams may want to walk around from the southside of the school, use second parking lot entrance. Buses may stay parked near the field on the southside, follow posted signs to field. Locker/Rest Rooms open for visiting teams in the school.
Snack Bar open for most home games.

Seniors/handicapped/wheelchairs:
Walking to the field from the northside parking lot is approx. 200 yards. For those needing help or a shorter walk please use the southside parking lot (2nd)entrance, follow signs, parking closer to the field is allowed.
wheelchairs will not fit thru gate at northside.
All fans/parents/students/cheer/band may use either north or south entrance.


Cost: Adults $4.00 Students/Seniors $3.00
Family ticket $10.00 (up to 5 people/2 Adults)
All CHSAA/League/school/season passes welcome!
JV or C-level games played alone will never require admission fee.
