The Hawks are now 2 points ahead of the Southwest Cougars in top spot in the West after their win against Yellowhead Saturday night and Parkland Rangers on Sunday. Meanwhile Brandon dropped a 6-3 decision against the Caps Saturday night, to put them 5 points back and 3 back of the Cougars. The Hawks are nearing the end of the regular season schedule, with only 2 games remaining, and only 1 home game, a very pivitol one, which will be played in Pilot Mound on Friday, Feb.12th vs Southwest. Every game counts now as they wind down the regular season and compete for top spot in the West in this very tight race.
Congratulations to Jory Mullin who is this weeks recipient of "Offensive Player of the Month"
It was an extremely productive month for the Hawks Jory Mullin. The Hawks played 12 games, and during that stretch, the 2nd year center from Cartwright recorded a total of 25 points (14 goals, 11 assists), helping the Hawks to 11 wins in those 12 games. Mullin also recorded at least one point in every game that was played, and multiple points in 7. Mullin is listed by the MJHL's Neepawa Natives.

Pembina Valley awarded the 2010 Midget AAA West Regionals

Hockey Manitoba is pleased to annouce that Morden, MB and the Pembina Valley Region have been awarded to host the 2010 West Region Midget AAA Championship tournament scheduled April 1�4, 2010.
The West Region Championship is a qualifiying event for the TELUS Cup (National Championship) which sees champions from Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, Saskatchewan, and the Host team. The Midget AAA - Pembina Valley Hawks will be the Host team for the 2010 West Regionals.
