The Red Storm 97 is a girls travel softball team that practices in Trussville, Alabama.  Our team consists of 10 players from Trussville, Clay, Pinson, Morris, Moody and Birmingham.  Currently we are playing in 10 and Under tournaments and will move up to 12 and Under in the fall.  This team is coached by Shane Shields, Keith Dorsett, Chad Crocker and Chris Stephenson.  Red Storm 97 have been NSA Fall State Champions for the last 2 years, they have won many local and out of town/state tournaments and are hard at work to compete in the World Series this July in Panama City Beach, Florida.  This group of girls have made their home towns, Trussville Girls Softball Park and all their families very proud.
