Alumni game registration
Hi everyone,  I'm interested in registering to play in the Alumni game on 12/20.  I played JV and Varsity for Royal.  I graduated in 2007.  I played for Valley Jr. College for 2 years (outfield) and I'm currently playing at New Mexico Highlands University (outfield) in my Jr. year.  Looking forward to playing and seeing my former teammates and coaches.  Good luck this season.  Alex

EXPO HELP
Expo Countdown!

Our big day to shine is tomorrow and there have been MANY people in the program who have gone above and beyond to help with the Expo. Special  thanks to all of the committee members- you guys were amazing and we never heard ONE COMPLAINT- WOW!  Penny Hatlee, Leslie Abbott, Jeff Melnick, Ed Cerda, Pam Kinsman, Dave Mullen and Leroy Leyba have been awesome committee chairmen- a terrific "team effort" in pulling it all together!

The final touches begin today preparing the fields and getting the misc. items set up. If you can stop by the fields after 3pm today to lend a hand or stop by Coach Maye's classroom from 5-7 to help complete our "to do list" that would be appreciated.

If you can donate drinks, we will need lots for tomorrow! If you have an EZ UP you can bring, can you please email Leslie Abbott and let her know- we need about 6 of them.

Lastly, we need bodies to help set up at 6am tomorrow! This is in addition to your assigned shifts. I know it's early.... unfortunately we had to adjust to not having access to the MPR tonight. If you can PLEASE try and come for a couple of hours just to help get everything set up in the morning that would be awesome. This is going to be a great event that we will all be proud of hosting- thanks to everyone (especially Dave Green).

royal simi game
many people have there opinions of the greatest game every played. i was the first 4 year letterman in the school history. and the best victory for royal baseball was the royal simi game in 1985. simi was considered the best prep baseball team in the country. it was the first radio broadcast game ( k-wink). royal beat them in a nail bitter after 8 yrs of losses. if you need anymore information its at the library. or e-mail me.  dave raper

PE Clothes

It looks like clarification may be needed on the PE clothes pricing. PE clothes were recently made available to purchase at two prices:
1.   Booster members $26
2.   Non-booster members $30

Many of the checks that were received were at the membership price of $26 but the membership fee of $20 was not paid. For those who did not include their membership fee and would like to be a Booster member, please submit your $20 check made out to 'Royal Baseball Club' to Coach Maye this week. If you choose NOT to become a Booster member and paid the discounted price, please submit an additional $4 to Coach Maye this week.

*****************************************************************************************************************************************************************
Booster membership is optional but encouraged. The Booster Club supports the needs of our coaches, players and entire baseball program - with your participation we are able to provide the essentials required to keep the program running. Members are not obligated to attend booster meetings, volunteer for anything or take on any additional responsibilities (but of course all of these things would be welcome and appreciated)!

Booster Membership

We are now collecting Booster membership fees for the '09/'10 school year. Members will enjoy discounts on baseball activities throughout the year.  Please support our program by becoming a booster member, our target is 100% participation!

Checks should be made out to "Royal Baseball Club" in the amount of $20 and turned in next week to Coach Maye.
