BPA 10U State Champions

The Saline Storm successfully defended our state championship in the BPA State Tournament by going 4 - 0. Everyone on the team contributed to this great weekend of baseball. Each player had numerous hits, made outstanding defensive plays, pitched wonderfully and kept their heads and focus on the game when, after being ahead 6-5 in the 4th, went down 9 - 6 in the 5th inning of the championship game. The kids came out in the bottom of the 5th and quickly scored 4 runs, starting with the bottom two hitters in our line-up. Our pitching and defense shut Richfield out 1-2-3 in the top of the 6th. We want to thank the Richfield Renegades for an outstanding game. They have some of the best kids and coaches we've seen all year! Go Storm!!!
