High School Age group !!!

Our 16U & 18U program will now combine as the High School age division.  This will be in all events except our State Tournament.  In the State Tournament teams will have to play as 16U or 18U.

We have added quite a number of events to our list this year.  We have quite a number of tournaments in the upstate and we have went into North Carolina to host a few tournaments.  These are just across the border in Laurinburg and we encourage you to come and play in several of those.  We will be giving away team uniforms at the Laurinburg events.  We hope this will entice some of our South Carolina teams to come over the border and play.  We also have a college showcase tournament in Lexington this year.  If you are interested please let me know.  We look forward to a great season and we hope to see you soon.

The Points Race Winners for 2009 are:
Champions:  Wateree Wildcats
2nd Place: Palmetto Lasers
3rd Place: Carolina Survivors

New Regional Directors and Tournament:

Our new regional directors in the upstate are Shannon and Noah Baker.  They have both been hosting tournaments in the upstate this year with another association and we are glad to have them join our fastpitch program.
Please contact Shannon Baker or Noah Baker at 864-353-9363 or 864-353-4696 or email at isaupstatesc@hotmail.com for further information in regards to there upcoming tournaments.

Effective Immediately, the 14U & High School age division will pitch from 43'.  The National Federation of High School (NFHS) adopted this rule change for the upcoming 2010-2011 school year.  We will follow there ruling.

A word from our American Red Cross partner Miss Angela Bingham.  "Our grand total for Come Bat for Measles 2009 is $10,842.02 and our two year total is $23,376.54...which means we have saved a lot of children!!!  Thank you for everything you do to support the Measles Initiative of the American Red Cross!".

Trophies are provided only for team players that are at the tournament.  If a team has 11 players playing the weekend, then that is the number of team trophies that will be awarded to the team.  Not the number of players on the roster.  We have teams with 12 to 22 players on the roster and will not provide for that amount unless they are playing in the tournament.
